Good Improv> Fun Improv
I’ve been thinking about “having fun” onstage lately, and how to talk about it without sounding like a dick. I still might sound like a dick, but here we go.
I think there are two ways to have fun in an improv set. The kind I notice the most is the kind of fun that is only for the performers themselves: fucking with each other, making sloppy moves, overusing certain habits...
A joke I wrote in sixth grade
Why was marble upset with limestone?
Because it had taken marble for granite.
Groan if you wish, its still the best joke I’ve made up. The memory of that was triggered by a matchbox 20 song.
